Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated in AMIS on October 1, 2015, with a lot of enthusiasm. A special assembly was held on that day, where the children sang Gandhiji’s favourite bhajan. A group of children recited a Hindi poem on Gandhiji. The programme ended with a song, which highlighted Gandhiji’s dream for “Swachh Bharat”. The children took an oath to keep their surroundings clean.
