16th August 2019
On the morning of 16th August, class 7th Raintree group embarked on a field trip to Shravanabelagola, one of India’s most iconic places consisting of 2 hills. We climbed 700 steps to see the most breathtaking view. We also saw the great 58 feet tall Bahubali statue. Our classmates shared the information about Bahubali, Gomateshwara statue and Mahamasthakabisheka of Gomateshwara.
Then we climbed down the foothills. After having our lunch, the journey towards home began. After leaving at 6.45 am and spending a lot of time there, we reached the school at around 5.00 pm. This was a fun, memorable and first hand informative trip.
