As the entire campus was lavishly decorated with the tricolours, we at AMIS celebrated the 70th Independence Day of our nation. The programme kicked off by Harvinder didi hoisting the tricolour flag, as we all saluted the flag. The beautiful coincidence of Sri Aurobindo’s birthday was remembered and cherished by the students of AMIS. Starting with a brief introduction on the significance of Independence and on the life and philosophy of Sri Aurobindo, a number of splendid cultural and sporting displays were performed by the students of different classes. The dumbbell was the cynosure display for the entire crowd. The programme concluded with a beautiful interaction by Harvinder didi with the students.
