‘The poetry week’ commenced on the 8th of August and pursued until the 12th of August. Venues for the grade V – IX presentations were allotted in different areas of the school to break the monotony of assembling in the same place everyday. The props used combined with their colourful attires, facial expressions and gestures served as an added advantage to all the shows. Children had chosen various genres that touched upon personal emotions, nature, humour, animals, school, courage, patriotism, etc. The unfaltering applause received at the end of every performance was proof enough that the performers had engulfed great success throughout the week.
