On 15th December 2018, AMIS celebrated its annual sports meet ‘Aurolympics’ with great vigour and excitement. It all began with a brisk march past where every class formed a contingent and marched past the dignitaries led by two class representatives. After all the classes finished a lap of the ground, the representatives placed the class placards in the designated places and got ready for the breath-taking races. Children sprinted at lightning speed in the races and relays and also performed some well synchronized, colourful and thematic drills. Yoga and Gymnastic displays mesmerised the spectators. Parents were thrilled to watch the sports skills and the sportsmanship spirit of their children who put up an exhilarating show. Following them were the the tiny tots. Sports day has a magical touch on the lives of children and brings out the best in them. The overall development of the child is evident as they bloom into wonderful team players, encouraging and comforting one another. It was a treat to watch children display qualities of cooperation and coordination to establish uniformity in their drills. Their physical strength, endurance and sporting spirit shone through in the races.

Thank you very much Mr. Rajesh Khan and Ganeshan bhaiya for the lovely photos. Your time and effort is deeply appreciated.
