It is customary for students to perform on various occasions, but when it comes to Children’s day, teachers have to rack their brains to come up with interesting performances for the students in order to express their love and appreciation. Celebrations at Auro Mirra began after the morning assembly with a tribute to our first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, whose birth anniversary is celebrated as Children’s day, followed by songs, dances and a comical skit all performed by teachers. Students cheered for all their teachers as they saw them on stage and laughed boisterously at their jokes.  The campus was abuzz with excitement and joy. The programme ended with a fun filled game between the admin team and students of class 8.  Speaking on the occasion, Yamini didi wished the students a happy Children’s day and motivated them to dream big and stay focused in whatever they do..
